Thanks to the Idiot and his Poodle, the "state of peace" assumed by nations (one of those generalisations which is good) since 1945, bolstered by international bodies and jurisprudence, is gradually fading. We're returning, slowly and worryingly, to a generalised "state of war" assumed between peoples.
