I read the abridged text version. I felt sorry for Tariq Ramadan. It's an indication of the kind of smokescreen seperating media images of Islam from the heart of its teachings. Humphrys wasn't really interested in Islam, I felt. He came to the discussion with a clear agenda. He wanted to make good radio.
